Volunteer Coordinator

Volunteer Coordinators interact with guests, clergy, volunteers, and Family Promise staff members. Since our model changed during the pandemic, Family Promise keeps community churches involved by communicating weekly with a coordinator. In the weekly correspondence, we keep the coordinators updated on what is happening in the programs.

Among the tasks required of the Volunteer Coordinator are:

For Host and Support Congregation Volunteer Coordinators:

• Act as a liaison to Family Promise staff members.
• Work with Family Promise staff to train volunteers.
• Assist with volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and support.
• Work and interact with Family Promise guests.
