Keeping Families Together
BB&T Bank Volunteers
In addition to the BB&T Volunteers help with painting, yard work, and washing and cleaning the IHN vehicles, BB&T donated funds to purchase new blinds for the IHN facilities, a new ramp for the IHN box truck, and other needed supplies.
Families Moving Home
Families in our "Families Moving Home" program participated in a Ropes Course with their mentor families. The Ropes course helped to build problem-solving skills, strengthened relationships and encouraged open communication. Our families participated in team-building exercises and a high-ropes course that helped people face obstacles and overcome fears.
